A carefully sorted and washed coffee that retains floral and fruity notes of cassis, caramel, and cherry thanks to its light roast. The berry-sweet character of the coffee makes all the difference. Clean and balanced, with a full body and subtly integrated acidity.

Roasted for filter coffee.

A microlot from Kenya. The Karindundu Factory is located on Mount Kenya, 1 km from the town of Karatina in the Kenyan district of Nyeri. A total of 513 active members (349 men, 164 women) contribute to the annual production, each with an average of 300 trees and 0.5 hectares. The farmers grow their coffee plants in a mixed ecosystem together with macadamia, bananas, corn, and beans. After harvesting the ripe cherries, the producers deliver them to Karindundu, where they undergo a traditional washing process. The coffee is de-pulped, fermented overnight, washed, and then dried on raised beds.
